There are times where you may feel the need to complain about aspects of your treatment. In all cases the first step is to get in contact with your treatment provider in order to discuss your concerns. Whilst all NHS treatment centres have a formal complaints procedure it is often slow and defensive so a degree of determination is needed. If you do not get satisfaction at this stage then there are a number of options open to you. As they are quite wide and varied we would suggest that you get advice at this stage from Citizens Advice or a welfare rights centre. They should be able to point you in the right direction as well as giving you support/
In all cases unless you have raised your complaint with the treatment provider first you will find that you cannot go to the next stage. Make sure you keep all relevant documentation or other forms of contact related to your complaint. Do not give up!!
